Our Story

 There is no doubt about it, my story is not glamorous but is one that everything coincidentally fell into place. At the time I was a full time college student graduating with my bachelors in Health Administration. I am also a full time mother, and started Kelsi’s Kloset in September of 2013. My business started from downsizing my own closet on a clothing Facebook page under my sister “Kelsi’s” name. This was merely to help cover college costs with no intentions of making it a business. Shortly after having success, women started inquiring if I would be interested in consigning their clothing items, to where I finally started up the business selling gently used along with new clothing. Three months after being small consignment store while also offering new clothing, I realized I wanted to turn this into something bigger than myself! We than began transiting our small space into a new retail boutique. One of my favorite quotes that has always inspired me is: “Don’t ask what the world needs, ask what makes you come alive, And go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” 

Those who know me know clothing, style, and accessories have always been my passion ever since I can remember. This sounds cheesy but is what makes my day come to life being an avid lover of all things that make you look and feel fabulous. Now I finally am pursuing my dream, which I absolutely love, while also helping women find their inner style! I find joy in curating looks and seeking out the latest trends for our customers. Although the greatest pleasure thus far is the people I have the privilege of meeting and the friendships we have made along the way. I am so thankful for this opportunity and am grateful as this wild dream of mine would not have been possible if it wasn’t for all the customers, family, and community support I’ve gotten from the start! Kelsi’s Kloset has now turned into a new retail store that offers affordable to higher end clothing pieces for all woman varying in sizes and age groups! My mission is when customers walk in my store I want them to feel welcome with the unique flare and personal shopping experience that has a little something to offer for everyone!
